Take a piece of the thriving Mechelen City, the once historic and proud capital of the Netherlands in the 1500s, and call it your own.

A piece of Mechelen
The city is quickly transforming into a melting pot of living, working, and relaxing. MALT is at the center of the action, where urban meets historical in a mixed-use project.
The great industrial revolution of the 1800s gave rise to the construction of a new malting plant, the Malterie Vandermolen, designed by Antwerp architect Georges Matthyssens.
Throw back to history
The site has a rich history of development, from a malting plant to a rubber factory, and until recently, under the management of Inofer. Last occupied in 2013, MALT is the final derelict site to be developed and will soon be the next hub for office and lifestyle destinations in Mechelen.

A mix of old and new
Living, working, and relaxing come together in this new hotspot in Mechelen, just 1,9 km from the city center. MALT’s name is a nod to the area’s industrial past, perfectly mixing it with today’s sustainable, green, and accessible development.
